I'm currently building a closely knit network of health practitioners.
The inspiration comes from my time working in a specialist team for pain treatment in the Swedish healthcare system. We had doctors, nurses, a sexologist, a midwife, a social worker, and me, a psychologist. We had a shared schedule for the patients — how many times and in what order they would see each practitioner, depending on what they needed help with.
It was reassuring to have a team to lean on. When a patient had questions after a session, or when I noticed parts of their health that fell outside my own area of expertise, I could refer them to someone I trusted.
I believe in a holistic view of health and healing, which also means I can't do this work all by myself. I have my own expertise, and I want to find others with different areas of expertise, so that together we can provide more complete care for our clients.
A network for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and referring clients to one another — so more people can experience holistic care in practice, not just in theory.
